MANCHESTER UNITED manager Ruben Amorim insists Matheus Cunha has “more levels” to go ahead of his return.
Cunha has missed the last two games with a head injury but has only scored one goal since his ÂŁ62.5million transfer from Wolves in June.
The 26-year-old could start on the bench for the visit of West Ham on Thursday night after forwards Joshua Zirkzee and Mason Mount scored in the 2-1 comeback win at Crystal Palace on Sunday.
Amorim joked about Cunha’s obsession with “social media” numbers had contributed to his frustration at not scoring more.
“I think he has more levels to go,” Amorim said of Cunha. “He’s in a different club, different pressure but he coped with that really well.
“He was struggling because he wasn’t scoring, and because of social media views he was thinking about too much about the numbers!

“But the influence that he has in the team is so important for us but Cunha has so much to go offensive and defensively.”
United have doubts over two unnamed players for the visit of West Ham on Thursday night. Harry Maguire and Benjamin Sesko are still out.
“We have two doubts for the game,” Amorim confirmed. “I will not tell you today because we are going to change the way we approach.
