THE SUN 🔵 Newcastle star Dan Burn lands shock role in local PANTOMIME over Christmas
NEWCASTLE ace Dan Burn has landed a role in his hometown pantomime production this Christmas.
Burn, 33, will make a cameo appearance in the Phoenix Theatre’s production of Aladdin as the voice of the Genie in Blyth, Northumberland.
The defender will not actually be on stage during the pantomime.
Instead, the England international’s role will be pre-recorded given Newcastle‘s busy holiday schedule.
The Phoenix Theatre confirmed the news on social media ahead of the scheduled performances from December 6 to December 28.
The announcement read: “The secret’s out.

“Blyth’s very own Dan Burn is the voice of the Genie in Aladdin at The Phoenix Theatre this Christmas.
“Get ready for wishes, laughter, and a giant dose of Toon magic.
“Tickets are flying faster than a magic carpet.”
