THE SUN 🔵 Barcelona refuse to rule out transfer for Liverpool and Real Madrid target Marc Guehi and could agree deal within weeks
BARCELONA have refused to rule out a move for free agent Marc Guehi next summer.
The Crystal Palace captain, 25, will be at the centre of a fight between Europe‘s top clubs next summer after his deadline day move to Liverpool collapsed earlier this year.

Barcelona and their Spanish rivals, Real Madrid, are both interested in the England man while talks have also been held with Bayern Munich.
Liverpool are expected to return with an offer for Guehi whilst Manchester City hold long term interest.
When asked about Guehi Deco, the former Barca player and now sporting director, said: “We have identified a lot of players [as potential options], he’s a good player.
“We know what we want, but we’re not going to speak publicly about what they are.

“We’re content to have a young squad, with players from La Masia, allows us to be more calm.”
Guehi is out of contract at Selhurst Park this summer and has made it clear he has no intention of signing a new deal.
The defender can sign a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of England from January – a move that is being seriously considered by his camp.
Guehi is not expected to move for a fee during the January window.

Liverpool had agreed a £35million deal with Crystal Palace on the final day of the summer window, with Guehi having undergone part of his medical in London.
The Eagles, amid tensions between the board and manager Oliver Glasner, dramatically pulled the plug to keep the defender at the club.
To his credit the England defender has not downed tools and continues to impress for the Eagles.
But with every passing game, it’s clear that he will be heading to a club playing in the Champions League sooner or later.
Inside Guehi’s collapsed Liverpool transfer after Glasner power struggle
OLIVER GLASNER has won his battle with Steve Parish over captain Marc Guehi.
The most successful manager in Crystal Palace history slammed his foot down and demanded that he did not lose his skipper this late in the window.
Glasner made it abundantly clear in public that he wanted Guehi to stay following the win over Aston Villa.
Within the club some feared he could even walk if the defender was sold.
Off the back of the FA Cup win in May and the victory over Liverpool in the Community Shield, this is the prime time for Glasner to throw his weight around.
Not that Palace did not try to land a fee for Guehi, who could now leave for nothing in a year’s time.
