Soccerment is a sports technology company that provides AI-driven data analytics and scalable tracking solutions to enhance performance analysis in soccer. Soccerment’s core products, XSEED (smart shinguards) and XVALUE (an advanced analytics platform), empower clubs, academies, and players with actionable insights through proprietary metrics. By integrating athletic, technical, and tactical data, Soccerment brings predictive analytics to all levels of the game, revolutionizing talent development and performance assessment.

Soccerment was selected to be part of the program’s 2025 cohort following a rigorous evaluation process which vetted hundreds of companies from around the world. Along with all of the companies participating in the MLS Innovation Lab, Soccerment will have the opportunity to test their innovations in rigorous real-world environments throughout the MLS ecosystem, including MLS NEXT Fest, Generation adidas Cup, MLS NEXT Cup and the MLS NEXT All-Star Game presented by All-State.

“We are honored to be part of this year’s MLS Innovation Lab cohort and excited to contribute to the evolution of Major League Soccer,” says Aldo Comi, CEO of Soccerment. “As the first Italian company selected for this prestigious program, this is a significant milestone for us. We look forward to the collaborative opportunities and innovations that will emerge through our work with the MLS community.”

The MLS Innovation Lab is one of several initiatives demonstrating Major League Soccer’s commitment to creating the future of sports through cutting-edge technology and transformative concepts. As the first major sports league to enter into a global digital streaming agreement, MLS is now in the second season of its unprecedented 10-year partnership with Apple, which continues to reimagine how soccer fans consume matches. This partnership launched the global streaming platform MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, which is aired in over 100 countries and regions with no blackouts and in multiple languages. Additionally, MLS has teamed up with the Emmy award-winning production company, Box to Box films, to develop an all-access docuseries for soccer fans and new audiences set to air in 2025.

“The first year of the MLS Innovation Lab was incredibly successful, giving us a structured and strategic program to collaborate with an array of tech companies in real world environments as they tested throughout our ecosystem,” says Chris Schlosser, MLS SVP of Emerging Ventures. “As we continue at the forefront of innovation among global sports leagues, we’re even more excited for our upcoming work with Soccerment and the rest of the second cohort of the MLS Innovation Lab as we co-create new ideas and push the boundaries in the game of soccer.”

Following all testing, Soccerment, along with all other companies in the cohort, will be in the running to receive an invitation to present their capabilities to MLS executives and owners at the Second Annual “Future of the Game Showcase” during the 2025 MLS All-Star Game in Austin. Additionally, these companies will have the potential to secure long-term strategic partnerships and investment opportunities from the League.
