Everton have been handed an injury boost ahead of the clash against Newcastle United as Alexander Isak is expected to miss out through injury.
The Toffees will be looking to secure back-to-back wins in the Premier League against the Magpies on Saturday 5 October.
Sean Dyche’s side welcome Newcastle to Goodison Park seven days after winning 2-1 against Crystal Palace thanks to a Dwight McNeil brace.
Alexander Isak to miss Everton clash for Newcastle United
Daily Mail journalist Craig Hope shared on 2 October that the forward hasn’t been included in the Sweden squad for the upcoming international break.
As a result, the 25-year-old is “expected” to miss the clash at Goodison Park as he did against Manchester City.
This will certainly be a boost for Everton given how important and impactful Isak can be when given the chance to thrive.
The former Borussia Dortmund starlet has already shown his best against the Toffees in the past when he provided a world-class assist for Jacob Murphy after a slalom dribble at Goodison Park.
This will be especially positive for Dyche’s side after a poor start to the season defensively which has seen them concede 15 goals in the opening six games.

Although this situation has been improved by the return of Jarrad Branthwaite, it is still better that the Sweden international isn’t involved for the home side’s hopes of securing three points.
