Amanda Holden and Tony Bellew have welcomed the news that Everton have hired David Moyes as their new manager.
The Toffees confirmed the appointment of the 61-year-old on Saturday (11 January), just days after Sean Dyche was sacked.
The return of the former gaffer at Goodison Park has gone down well among supporters, with celebrity Holden reaching out on social media with a love heart for eyes emoji on Instagram.
Former boxer and Toffees superfan Bellew also took the opportunity to offer his good wishes to the new boss as he said: “Best of luck gaffer.”

It is interesting to see the outpouring of positivity towards the new manager on Merseyside, especially after how downcast it has been in recent weeks.

Moyes is a well-respected figure in L4 and in the footballing world in general, which is why it is no surprise to see this news be so well received.
The Scottish head coach did so well with West Ham across his two spells in charge and he will hope to replicate that feat at Goodison.
In his two spells at the London Stadium, he dragged the Hammers away from relegation before taking them to European glory in the Conference League.

If the reaction to his appointment has been positive based on his previous stint with the Toffees, just imagine how well-liked the ex-Manchester United boss would be if he won a trophy with the Blues.
With a clash against Aston Villa fast approaching, it will be interesting to see how his new era at Goodison kicks off.
