Kenny Miller has tipped Oscar Cortes for stardom and believes the winger offers Rangers the best of both worlds.
The Colombian attacker, 20, has caught the eye since arriving on loan from Lens in January and produced a man of the match showing on his full debut against Ayr United. Blessed with quick feet and blistering pace, the skillful youngster could move to Ibrox permanently if Philippe Clement triggers an option to buy clause in the summer.
And Miller believes the talented starlet – who Lens shelled out £4million to bring him from Millonarios in the summer – is a more complete version of wing rivals Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo.
« He can be inside as well and combine so he’s got that ability to go inside to allow Borna Barisic to push up which Rangers do a lot. But he’s also got the ability where he can get the paint on his boots and go one vs one and if you isolate him, he looks like he could be a very dangerous player.
« Even though he’s not scored yet, he looks hungry to get in the box as well. There’s been really good signs. In the early part of his Rangers career, it looks like he could be a really good signing. »
