DAILY RECORD 🔵 Hibs ramp up Felix Passlack bid as Kieron Bowie to Rangers transfer talk latest is revealed

The 27-year-old defender is going into the final six months of his contract at German side VfL Bochum

Hibs are expected to advance the signing of Felix Passlack from VfL Bochum this week.

The 27-year-old defender is going into the final six months of his contract and the Bundesliga 2 are ready to do a deal now rather than lose him for free.

The former Borussia Dortmund player was left out of Bochum’s winter training camp win over Alemannia Aachen on Saturday by boss Uwe Rosler – who is also on Aberdeen’s managerial shortlist.

It was a precautionary move with the German side looking to advance transfer talks with Hibs when they make their return from Turkey today.

The right back has also had loan spells at 1899 Hoffenheim, Norwich City and Fortuna Sittard.

Passlack previously played with Hibs defender Grant Hanley when they were at Carrow Road.

David Gray wants to bring in another right-back to add competition with Chris Cadden and Kanayo Megwa.

Hibs also want to add another striker in this window.

They are interested in Sheffield Wednesday’s Bailey Cadamarteri but their first bid of £250,000 has been rejected.

The Owls want a £1million deal and it remains to be seen if a deal can be agreed or Hibs will look elsewhere.

There has been a lot of speculation over Kieron Bowie, who has been watched by Wolves and linked to Rangers.

Reports have claimed Rangers have asked his agent to be kept informed about the situation but there has been no contact on that front.
