We’re officially into the business end of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup. Just 16 teams remain with a place in the quarter-finals at stake across a blockbuster weekend of knockout football. It’s at this stage of the tournament that the dreams of Hampden really start to take root and with seven lower league teams remaining – four of which have been drawn together to guarantee two non-Premiershp quarter-finalists – the chances of a real fairytale story are higher than ever. Here’s everything you need to know…
- When is the Scottish Cup fifth round? The Scottish Cup fifth round kicks off on Friday, February 6 and continues over the weekend until Sunday, February 8.

- Airdrieonians vs St Mirren: Friday, February 6 – BBC Scotland (Kick-off 7.45pm)
- Celtic vs Dundee: Saturday February 7 – Premier Sports 1 (Kick-off 5.30pm)
- Aberdeen vs Motherwell: Saturday February 7 – Premier Sports 1 (Kick-off 7.30pm)
- Rangers vs Queen’s Park: Sunday, February 8 – Premier Sports 1 (Kick-off 2pm)
- Stenhousemuir vs Falkirk: Sunday, February 8 – BBC Scotland (Kick-off 7.30pm)
- Who else is in action? The non-televised games all kick off on Saturday, February 7 at 3pm. They are: Dundee Utd vs Spartans, Dunfermline vs Kelty Hearts, Elgin City vs Partick Thistle
- When is the quarter-final draw? It’s expected the draw will take place live on BBC Scotland after Stenhousemuir vs Falkirk comes to a close.
