Three teenagers and a man in his 50s were killed in a road crash in which five others were also injured, police have said.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said two cars were involved in what is believed to have been a head-on crash, which happened at 00:45 GMT in Wigan Road, Bolton.
The force said three men travelling in a red Seat Leon – two aged 18, the other 19 – had died. The driver of the other car, a Citroen C4 Picasso, was also killed.
